Positive feedback was received from the HR Forum organised by the Malaysian Institute of Management (MIM), early this year. Continuing with this excellent record, MIM held another Forum - Human Capital Management (HCM) Forum to fulfill the demands and requirements received during the first HR Forum titled "Creating A Comprehensive Talent Driven Succession Planning
Programme: Building a Talent Pipeline" which was attended by 100 invited guests comprising of HR practitioners, HR directors, managers and executives representing the corporate organisations and small or medium enterprises (SMEs).
Encik Rosdi Che Osman, Corporate & Public Programmes Manager delivered his welcome address at this HCM Forum. In his welcome note, he stressed "MIM acts as the Knowledge Transfer Factor, which facilitates the continuous development, management and enhancement of Talent in Human Capital in Malaysian organisations. Human Capital Management Forum serves as an avenue for the dissemination of ideas and
a platform for industry practitioners to network and also to keep up on the latest developments in the management development and training".

The esteemed speaker for this forum, is none other than Dr Wilson Tay, CEO of MIM who delivered his keynote address
stressing on the effectiveness of the essential steps in succession planning and to build
a business case to gain senior level support.
He also showed the guests the `Integrated Talent Management & Succession Planning
Model' that focuses on recruitment, development, retention, succession and engagement,
which relates back to the organisation itself. |
