Kuala Lumpur - It was a pleasant night to remember for many people as the Malaysian Institute of Management (MIM) hosted over 200 guests comprising clients, MIM Court of Fellows and General Council members, business associates, facilitators, sponsors, friends, management team and staff at the "MIM Appreciation Nite 2007" which was held at MIM Management House in Jalan Ampang on Tuesday, 30
January 2007.
The night started with a spread of scrumptious food and exhilarating entertainment. The night also saw the recognition to MIM's six top most supportive clients who supported MIM with training. The two-winners for the Platinum Award were Maybank Berhad and Bank Pertanian Malaysia and the Silver Awards were given to Siemens, MdeC, Genting Group and Tenaga Nasional Berhad. There weren't any Gold
awards for year 2006.
"This Appreciation Nite is to recognise the support of MIM's corporate clients and the contribution of all who are present here with us. Your support and efforts have indeed contributed to the success of the events organised by MIM throughout the year," said YAB Tun Hanif Omar, President of MIM.
He further added, that MIM has an array of exciting events and activities in year 2007 such as the MIM-Public Bank Young Managers Awards, National Management Leadership Conference, National Management Game and many more.
57, MIM Certified Professional Trainers
The evening was made more memorable, as 57 MIM Certified Professional Trainer (MIM-CPT) graduated completing the programme in which they received a plaque and a certificate.
In addition to that, guests present at the dinner were invited to select one charitable organisation from three (i.e. The Heart Foundation of Malaysia, Malaysian Nature Society and SPCA) to which they would like to make a donation to. For a selection by each guest, MIM will donate on their behalf RM10 to the charitable organisation of their choice.
Recognition plaques were also given to our kind sponsors Public Bank Berhad, TMS, Khind, MSC Management Services Sdn Bhd and TISS MSC Sdn Bhd.
