The MIM-RAMLEA programme is a residential programme organised by MIM and supported by Kondrad Adenaur Stiftung (KAS). The program was held from 16-19 October 2008 in which participants were exposed to talks, readings, discussions, visitations and reflections that helped them rediscover themselves and the society around them. From these experiences, it is hoped that participants will find renewed
spirit and play a more active role in community development programmes putting their wealth of knowledge and experience to good use while continuing to create value in society.
This year's MIM-RAMLEA invited speakers to speak on topics pertaining to Retirement, Reflections on Life, Joy of Sharings and more. Highlights of the programme were the visits to the Lake Gardens to energise themselves with the "Qi Gong" exercise and the Malaysian Association for the Blind (MAB) to get awareness of its operations and service opportunities available.
The MIM-RAMLEA programme is part of MIM's effort to give back to society. Also featured as part of MIM's corporate social responsibility are two other programmes: the MIM Youth Leadership Development Programme (MIM-TRYLA) and the MIM Managers' Renewal Programme (MIM-THORA) both of which are KAS-supported, tailored for young and senior practising managers respectively.
