Held at Sunway Putra KL, the programme was recognised and awarded by The Basel Institute on Governance, Switzerland.
The programme offered a comprehensive and robust framework for anti-corruption compliance to enhance the standards of best practice helping organisations face current and future corruption challenges.
It also covered an introduction to corporate ethics and corruption, including international legal and regulatory developments and enforcement measures, applicable anti-corruption laws in Malaysia, recent cases and enforcement as well as anti-corruption risk assessment, developing a suitable programme to prevent, detect and control risks.
More importantly, the workshop helped participants to identify which anti-corruption policies and procedures are relevant, as well as tips and best practices on drafting and implementing internal standards. They were exposed to processes of conducting an internal investigation, enforcing disciplinary measures, recommending good practices and practical approaches, advice and reporting lines.
Participants gained insights into the importance of implementing ethics and anti- corruption practices, increase practical knowledge and skills to make anti-corruption and compliance work for their organisations, demonstrate commitment to strengthen applications of anti-corruption compliance, develop a strong foundation to support a career pathway in ethics and anti- corruption compliance, and gain opportunity to network with ethics and anti-corruption compliance practitioners.
