Tun Razak Youth Leadership Award (TRYLA)

March 12 @ 9:00 am - March 17 @ 5:00 pm

The Malaysian Institute of Management (MIM) invites Asia’s emerging leaders to participate in the prestigious 22nd Tun Razak Youth Leadership Award (TRYLA) from 12-17 March 2017 at the Outward Bound Malaysia (OBML) in Lumut, Perak.

Inaugurated in 1993, TRYLA is designed to develop emerging leaders from diverse ethnic backgrounds to inculcate a spirit of unity and harmony, build superior leadership characteristics and provide opportunities to realise their leadership potential and excellence. TRYLA aims to transform the lives of young people and inspire them to make a difference in the community and region. The programme was named after the late Tun Abdul Razak, the second Prime Minister of Malaysia whose profound passion lay in nurturing youth leaders. In continuing his father’s passion, developing youth leadership followed as a focus in the nation building agenda under the remarkable leadership and dedication of the present Prime Minister, YAB Dato’ Sri Haji Mohammad Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak.

TRYLA puts its participants through a series of vigorous outdoor activities to develop a high performance, positive and empowering culture that allows individuals to excel professionally and personally.

Participants can expect to build rafts, camp in the wilderness or speed down a wire. The five-day fully residential and experiential learning programme will spark creative energies, foster innovation and build camaraderie.
