About TAR® Lecture Series

A prestigious event embedded within Malaysia’s history, the Tunku Abdul Rahman® (TAR®) Lecture was inaugurated in 1970 by the Malaysian Institute of Management (MIM). Established in honour of Malaysia’s first Prime Minister, the late YTM Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj, this signature lecture series has since become a prominent platform for fostering thought leadership.Over the decades, distinguished leaders and dignitaries have shared their wisdom, insights, and personal philosophies, contributing meaningfully to the fields of business and management excellence.
